ITT:You come from a family of 11...wow! Any advice for our readers on getting along with family?
Carolyne: I love my family more than anyone on this planet. And it shows that they love me back when I get in fights with my brothers and sisters...we always work it out with an apology and a hug. If you ever get in fights with your brothers or sisters or even if you get in fights with your parents, just remember that you are family and that no matter what, your parents and your siblings will always love you and that you should feel the same way about them!!!!!
ITT:Do you like being home schooled?
Carolyne: I think homeschooling rocks because first of all I get to spend time with 2 of my sisters, 1 of my brothers and most importantly my Mom. Second of all, you can get your years work done earlier than regular schools usually do if you put your mind to it. And most importantly you get to have more private time with the Lord.
ITT:We were excited to interview your sister Courtney from the new group Cadia! What is it like being label mates (Fervent) with your sister? How is she a great support to you as a fellow Recording Artist?
Carolyne: Courtney is a support to me in every way!! We have always shared a love for singing and we love to sing together! I wish we could be on tour with Cadia. I get really homesick, so being on the road together would give us a little bit of home on the road! Courtney loves the Lord with all of her
heart. She is a role model to me in every way.

Kathleen Carnali's 'Once Upon a Time' Real Life Love Story
Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 1:18 AM by Ruth Tynes / Online Editor / InTheTimes.com
ITT:Your husband and Manager Brett, truly is a partner in ministry with you, how did you
meet, how is he an encouragement to you, and what advice would you like to give InTheTimes.com girls
when it comes to finding the Godly 'man of their dreams' ?
Kathleen: Brett and I met in high school when we were both seventeen! Since I didn't date, we were friends for a long time and eventually became best friends. After about a year had passed, God brought us confirmation that this was ordained and blessed by Him. We were then married about two years later.
My husband's love is so alive, pure, and unconditional, it takes my breath away. His support and encouragement keeps me going strong. But the most important thing in our relationship is our passion for Christ. He is the glue that keeps us bonded and closer than ever.
My advice to every girl is this...know and be confident in who you are in Jesus. He is the only one that can fulfill every need and desire. No man can ever do that. So keep your affections on things above and God will add unto you the blessings...including a husband if it be His will. The source of love, true intimacy, and all that is good is of God. So the bigger the heart for God that a man has, the more able he is to love and treasure you unconditionally, just like Jesus does. But to have a man of this caliber, you must be a woman of the same. Continually seek the Lord above all things, and He will transform you into the amazing woman of God that He has so purposed you to be!

Tammy Trent's Favorite Birthday Memory
Wednesday, November 12th 2008 at 6:24 AM by Ruth Tynes / Online Editor / InTheTimes.com
" I feel like most of my life, my birthdays haven't been incredibly memorable. I even remember throwing MYSELF a 21st birthday party, and not many showing up for some reason (laughing).
But recently, two of my best friends threw me a surprise birthday party with about 20 of my best girlfriends. My Mom even flew into Nashville to surprise me. It was soo special to me, and a highlight of that party was a slide show with pictures of me throughout my life, all put to music.
I think we all lost it when it got to the part of “The Boy”. Flashing from the screen were pictures of my late husband and I. The life we shared. The love I miss. I could hardly breathe.
I was reminded in that moment of how strong I really have become. Even through the tears, I'm overcoming. "

"The most important thing to remember about dating is that you deserve the best ! Don't settle on anything less than God's best for you! You are a princess and you deserve God's man for you, it's worth the wait.
I'm in my 20s, single, and I am loving life! I think it's important to be content and satisfied with the Lord, finding your security in Him before you start a serious dating relationship. So many times our tendency as girls is to find our identity in a guy. We think that if we find the perfect guy, he will complete us. The truth is, only God can complete us and we need to let Him and Him alone fill that void in our lives for companionship, acceptance, and love.
Wait for a man who loves Jesus with all of his heart and soul ! Wait for a man who is deep into God's word and who treats you and others with the utmost respect. Instead of focusing on that next guy or that next relationship, focus on your love relationship with Jesus, who is the best friend and love that you will ever have! Keep your gaze focused on Him and He will lead you and guide you. Fall in love with God first and then the rest will fall into place.
You want a guy who is humble and tender, yet strong in the Lord, confident, but not cocky, interested in spurring you on and encouraging you in your relationship with the Lord.
If you are in a relationship, focus on the Lord to help you stay pure. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, meaning that your body is where God dwells. Treat your body with the utmost respect, walk in purity and guard your heart. Don't rush into anything, there is no hurry, wait on the Lord and give Him your heart each day, regardless of if you are dating anyone or not. Let Jesus live through you and He will bring forth that purity you so long for.
Some girls make the mistake of seeing dating and marriage as the ultimate, as the end in and of itself, but this is not the end. Jesus and His glory is the end ! That is what we should be focusing on, the guy will be there in God's timing, if that's His will, but try to focus on Christ instead of who you will date next or whether or not you'll get married. When I catch myself stressing out about my future in relationships, I sit back and try to remember that God loves me and desires that I give Him my future and heart !"

Wendy Drennen's 'Once Upon a Time' Real Life Love Story

ITT:Your husband and Fireflight bandmate Glenn, truly is a partner in ministry with you, how did you
meet, how is he an encouragement to you, and what advice would you like to give InTheTimes.com girls
when it comes to finding the Godly 'man of their dreams' ?
Wendy: Glenn and I met at work...and
church. I worked at the church's
pre-school and he worked for the
church.
Glenn is an encouragement to me in the way he continually strives for his dreams and passions. He is not a quitter and I admire that. He also is an encouragement to me by his constant belief in me. He is very verbal about how much he appreciates me and loves me.
Girls, pray, pray, pray! And don't rush into a relationship too fast. I've seen so many girls fall head-over-heels with the first guy that gives them attention without really considering the heart of the man. As much as we may think the guy interested in us is “the one” God knows better than us. If we are putting God first (and not the desire to be married) and staying in His word daily, He will let us know when the right man comes along...without a doubt!
